The Pan-American championships take place this week and yesterday in the time-trial event we have had two champions crowned. Kristen Faulkner and Walter Vargas won their respective events to earn a new set of stripes.
In the women's race Faulkner had to defeat Arlenis Sierra and home rider Aranza Villalón. The event took place in Santiago, Chile, and the rider from the USA was 22 seconds faster against the clock than her two main rivals.
