Kasper Asgreen's hopes of being at the Tour de France have taken a hit as the Dane crashed on the third stage of the
Tour de Suisse and has as a result not taken to the start today in Grenchen.
The crash in which he was involved with four kilometers to go yesterday also saw his teammate
Ilan van Wilder crash out of GC contention, with the likes of Max Schachmann and Domenico Pozzovivo also involved. The Dane however seems to be the most badly affected of these four riders, needing to take stitches in his left knee due to a deep wound.
