Earlier this week Gazzetta dello Sport have reported that Jonathan Milan could be departing Bahrain - Victorious and making a move towards Trek - Segafredo, and inside reports suggest the deal may have already been finalized.
Sources near Wielerflits have hinted that an agreement has already been found between the two parties, with Milan joining Trek already in 2024. The team has a lot of Italian influence and he would come in as part of the team's leadout for Mads Pedersen, as well as working on his own chances in some flat races, classics and his efforts on the track where he's been quite successful over the past few years.
Milan has joined Bahrain - Victorious in 2021, and the 22-year old broke through last year winning two stages at the Cro Race late in the year after showing a lot of potential at the Tour de Pologne. This year the Italian has taken a stage win at the Saudi Tour where he directly beat Dylan Groenewegen.
