The young man won his first race of the season in Spain on February 13th, and eight months later his last race of the season, Il Lombardia in Italy. In between he triumphed at Amstel Gold Race, the Flèche Wallonne and, as my highlight, the Tour of Flanders. There aren't many tour winners who have triumphed there, that's what makes it so special. He was also great at the Tour and third at the World Championships. What a season!"
