Javier Romo is one of the brand new signings for Movistar Team for the year 2023. The young cyclist comes from a great season with the Astana team and participated in the last Madrid Criterium.
During the same, he spoke to Marca about the signing of Nairo Quintana by the telephone team, something he confessed he did not believe at the beginning when the news was published: "At first I did not believe it".
About his role in Movistar for 2024 he hopes to be important and is clear that he does not want to be just another man in the bunch but to be able to "help the team with victories".
