Jasper Philipsen again proved why he's viewed by many as the number one sprinter in the peloton today with a brilliant bunch sprint win ahead of Olav Kooij and Dylan Groenewegen at the Gooikse Pijl.
With the break being caught around 22km from the finish line a bunch sprint seemed inevitable. As a group of around 25 riders began to ride clear of the rest of the peloton, including Philipsen, Kooij and Groenewegen though it was secured.
Groenewegen was then the first to launch his sprint but as he began to die before the line, Philipsen took advantage and powered around to victory.
