Jasper Philipsen wins fourth stage of Tour of Denmark after a thrilling sprint

Jasper Philipsen has won the fourth stage of the Tour of Denmark. He was the fastest amongst his rival and crossed the finish line first.

There was no breakaway at the start of the race then we saw Gilles De Wilde, Anders Foldager, Anders Foldager, Anders Foldager and Matias Malmberg take some lead. Egan Bernal was involved in a small crash, but he was able to get up and continue the race. The breakaway was caught soon.

There were several attacks in the next 50 kilometers, but no one was able to increase the gap for more than 30 seconds. In the final 20 kilometers, Ludovic Robeet increased the pace, and André Drege, Alan Banaszek, Mads Rahbek, and Magnus Henneberg followed him and took a lead of 23 seconds. Only Drege was able to keep the lead as other riders were absorbed by the peloton.

However, soon he was also caught. Jasper Philipsen won the final sprint, Ethan Vernon finished in second place, and Jasper Stuyven took the bronze.
