Israeli national champion Oded Kogut beats Alexander Kristoff to win final Cro Race stage; Brandon McNulty wins overall classification

Brandon McNulty has won the Cro Race, arriving safely in the peloton on stage 6. Oded Kogut of Israel - Premier Tech took a surprising win, beating Uno-X's Alexander Kristoff who had a perfect leadout.

The breakaway of the day was formed by five riders: Matthias Schwarzbacher, Casper van der Woude, Konrad Czabok, Charles Paige and Kacper Maciejuk. The group never threatened the peloton too much, which kept a tight leash over the quintet.

The catch was made with 19 kilometers to go, but the urban circuit in Zagreb led to more attacks from riders trying to take this final opportunity. A few riders did escape in the final kilometers and it was a worthy move, but Uno-X Mobility closing down the move with all it's riders in the head of the peloton.

Uno-X did another textbook leadout which was perfect, but this time around the outcome was different. Oded Kogut, Israeli national champion, once again got in the wheel of Alexander Kristoff but in the final sprint this time he managed to outsprint him. It was a surprising win, and a massive disappointment for Uno-X who finished second and third as Kristoff's leadout himself Tord Gudmestad rode to third. Brandon McNulty arrived in the peloton safely and won the overall classification.
