The Gravel World Championships are currently taking place in Leuven, Belgium; but a Dutchman is storming through. Mathieu van der Poel, with over 100 kilometers to the finish, is already attacking the race hard and only a few riders are in the vicinity.
A video captured by Belga's Greg Lenco on a small forest section perfectly showed van der Poel's attack, and creating a gap to a group of around 20 riders, half of which Belgian. This could potentially be a winning move, but even if not, it leaves us with some spectacular footage.
