INEOS Grenadiers confirms the return of Egan Bernal to the Tour de France alongside Carlos Rodriguez and Daniel Martinez

INEOS Grenadiers has unveiled its '8' for the 2023 Tour de France, which will feature Egan Bernal, who confirms his return to the Grande Boucle after the accident that almost caused him to lose his life in January 2022.

Egan Bernal has earned a place in the INEOS '8' after a complicated 2023 season that began with crashes in the Vuelta a San Juan and Volta a Catalunya. Then, after a modest Itzulia, he gradually recovered his sensations and in Romandie and Hungary he performed at a very good level before confirming in Dauphiné that, although he is not ready to lead any squad, he has earned a place to help his teammates in the Tour de France.

Daniel Mart´ínez and Carlos Rodríguez will also be hoping to find consistent and strong form, all three riders are likely to eye the overall classification and make decisions on a sole leader - if that is to happen - throughout the race. Jonathan Castroviejo, Michal Kwiatkowski, Omar Fraile and Ben Turner come in as a strong mix of experience and quality ready to support it's leaders in every terrain.

Tom Pidcock concludes the lineup, as he looks to hunt stage wins throughout the race as well, the same way he did last year at the Alpe d'Huez.

INEOS Grenadiers for Tour de France:

Egan Bernal, Daniel Martínez, Carlos Rodríguez, Tom Pidcock, Jonathan Castroviejo, Omar Fraile, Michal Kwiatkowski and Ben Turner.
