Nairo Quintana is still without a team with the 2023 season well underway. Nevertheless, the Colombian is hoping to sign for a squad this year to race in the second half of the year and prove that he is still fit. The Colombian, in a recent interview with ESPN, talked about how long he hopes to continue racing.
"Although it's been almost ten years since my first victory in the Tour de France, I'm still more alive and with more desire than a first-year youngster," explained the Colombian cyclist, making it clear that his stage in professional cycling is not yet over.
Then, at the journalist's insistence, he clarified how long he wants to continue competing and hinted that he will quit when the 2024 season ends: "There is still Nairo for a while and the muscle still responds. I think I have a year left to continue enjoying the bike".
