"I have nothing against curves, but this didn't suit me" - Ethan Hayter blows up in Tour de Romandie prologue and clocks 118th time

Ethan Hayter, was seen as a great contender for the first leader's jersey of Tour de Romandie. However, the Briton from INEOS Grenadiers made two big mistakes and therefore did not get further than spot 118, 15 seconds behind Tudor's Maikel Zijlaard.

"It didn't go quite well in the corners," he could certainly smile about it afterwards. "A mistake is also easily made here, but cannot be repaired. Normally, I have nothing against curves, but this didn't suit me. It suited other guys better."
