Grace Brown stormed to victory in the third stage of the Ceratizit challenge by la Vuelta. It was a close call between Brown and Elise Chabbey, and she took the victory.
The breakaway included Lucinda Brand, Anouska Koster, Elisa Longo Borghini, and Demi Vollering. The group of four took a lead of 45 seconds. They soon increase the gap to 1 minute and 40 seconds before the peloton came back into action.

However, they were not able to enjoy the lead for much longer. We saw another group emerge and take a gap of 30 seconds. With 5 kilometers to go, Elise Chabbey and Grace Brown were leading with 23 seconds lead.
The peloton tried its best to stop the duo, but with 30 seconds lead, it was a hard bet. Grace Brown crossed the finish line first, and Elise Chabbey followed her shortly to secure the second position. Elisa Balsamo took the bronze. Annemiek van Vleuten is the overall leader.
