Stage 19 of the Vuelta a Espana has seen a sprint decide the outcome of the stage, as the peloton managed to control the attacks seen on the day, and Mads Pedersen managed to sprint into his third win of the race.
With a relatively calm day for the peloton, there were no major events going on in terms of crashes, and no riders have featured in the day's medical report.

As for the fines on the day, they were given to the following:
81 - Richard Carapaz (INEOS Grenadiers): Getting rid of bidon outside waste area (2nd offense). 1000CHF fine, 50 UCI points and 1 minute penalty in overall classification.
EF Education-EasyPost DS Juan Manuel Garate. Irregular refueling (Not wearing competition clothing during ground refueling). 200CHF fine.
