Movistar Team scored 225 with Iván García Cortina's fifth, 125 from Alberto Bettiol's eighth and Arkéa Samsic scored 155 from Warren Barguil and Matis Louvel's 10th and 11th spots. This was a very meaningful tally of points which has seen major changes.
Lotto Soudal now sit 654 points behind Movistar Team who sit in 18th place and are expected to bring a big amount of points from the Vuelta a Espana. Israel sits another 557 points behind the Belgian team. This Sunday will see the GP de Montréal and the end of the Vuelta which will be another big day of changes in the standings.

UCI may expand the World Tour to 20 teams, however those claims where quickly refuted by the UCI itself later on in the day, who have guarranteed that the promotion/relegation format would remain as agreed unanimously by every team in 2018 and 2020.
