Gazprom - Rusvelo looses sponsorships as Look and Corima split off

After the IOC announced the recommendation of Russian and Belarusian athletes to not be in participation at international sports events, Gazprom - Rusvelo are already suffering as expected backlash due to the team's main sponsor.

Gazprom is a state-owned Russian gas company which in the last few days has seen it's name removed from football's UEFA Association and German club Shalke 04. It is the largest natural gas exporter in the world and the main sponsor of the Russian Gazprom - Rusvelo team which was recently at the UAE Tour where young talent Mathias Vacek took a stage win.

Both bike and wheel sponsors, LOOK and Corima respectively - which have shared ownership - have announced today they are withdrawing their support and sponsorship form the squad. It is at this moment unsure if the Russian team will keep their scheduled program, but serious logistical issue are emerging already as the team will either ride unbranded material or possibly have to invest in new one.
