- He was not at his best due to the crash yesterday.
- What kind of statement is that. He has not beaten Del Toro, so he will not support and he does not want to support, it is clear
- Definitely. None we would expect to match Jonas on his own, but some very good riders who, while working together, were formidable. Jonas was just too much today.
- Why is Wout pulling back riders? Its the same mistake as to give MVDP victory
- Bro Kevin, just chase yourself before blaming others, if you weren't that far off. If you think you are of the caliber of Jonas that should be right up your alley.
- Fair enough - and a very solid group of B-listers
- No other top riders, but a group of 7 B-listers couldn't keep up with him even on the descents and flats. Too bad we'll never know if Ayuso could have managed, but even on form he would have been pressed. Pog looms out there somewhere, but this was impressive for now.
- Headline is a bit overblown. Sure Jonas is in good form. But it is no shocker that he can attack and ride away from all the riders left in the race. The only thing that was in doubt was whether he could beat Ayuso and unfortunately Ayuso had terrible luck yesterday
- Missed the split yesterday plus a crash so presumably not tip top today
- I thought Oscar Onley was supposed to be the big deal for 2026, but he's already down 11 minutes on GC. Or wasn't he the assigned GC leader for this race?
