Elmar Reinders will ride for BikeExchange-Jayco for the next two seasons. The Dutchman is enjoying a terrific season at the Continental level with
Riwal Cycling Team, and World Tour teams have taken not.
It's not the first pro deal for the seasoned baroque rider. Reinders made his pro debut with Roompot-Nederlandse Loterij in 2017 after many solid years at the continental level in the Netherlands. He stayed there until the team folded at the end of 2019. The Dutchman then signed with Riwal-Securitas in which he's still riding, enjoying a successful season with several wins in the Dutch calendar.
Reinders has since been riding with the orange team, which is currently led by Sebastian Andersen. Reinders has said that he enjoys his time with the Danish squad but is not interested in remaining any longer. Reinders has signed a two-year deal with Team BikeExchange-Jayco, ensuring him a pro contract until the end of 2024.
