Dylan Groenewegen sprints to victory in second stage of the Arctic Race of Norway

Dylan Groenewegen has won the second stage of the Arctic Race of Norway. He was the fastest in the sprint to cross the finish line.
The breakaway included Liam Johnstone, Johan Ravnoy, Aaron Van Poucke, Iker Mintegi, and Stephen Bassett. They created a gap of 3 minutes and 40 seconds from the peloton. The lead decreased to under 2 minutes after 40 kilometers.
Gleb Syritsa faced a tire puncture which cost him crucial time. The peloton caught up to the breakaway rider 25 kilometers before the finish line. With just 8 kilometers to go, Sven Erik Bystrom tried to attack, followed by Axel Zingle. But the duo failed to create any gap.
With final kilometer approaching Groenewegen sprinted with full speed and secured the victory. Amaury Capiot finished second behind Groenewegen while Edvald Boasson Hagen took the bronze.
