Derek Gee defends Canadian ITT title: "I'm unbelievably happy to bring the maple leaf back to Europe for another year!"

Derek Gee successfully defended his canadian time trial title on Friday. In 38,6 km ride against the clock around Hastings Lake, the Israel - Premier Tech rider beat his nearest opponent in elite category, Nickolas Zukowsky (Q36.5), by 34 seconds and U23 rider Michael Leonard by fifteen seconds less.

Gee shared his excitement and pride in recent tweet on his team's account. "I'm unbelievably happy to bring the maple leaf back to Europe for another year! It's a massive point of pride to get to represent Canada with the jersey at the world's biggest races and I'm so grateful to get to continue to do so."
