Dario Cataldo makes racing comeback at BEMER Cyclassics this Sunday

Dario Cataldo seems to be on his way to make a racing comeback at BEMER Cyclassics this Sunday. The Italian was out of competition since his crash at Volta Ciclista a Catalunya back in March.
The 38-year old Cataldo suffered a long list of injuries (Fractured collarbone, Fractured ribs, Fractured vertebrae, Pneumothorax, Fractured acetabulum, Fractured greater trochanter) that initially appeared to be enough to end his season early, but Cataldo swang back and with few months of racing ahead, he'll try to make most of what's left, starting in Germany's Bemer Cyclassics and Deutschland Tour.

Any athlete treating this remotely like an amateur sport (in terms of weight training, nutrition, lack of altitude camps, and so on) will not succeed. - MSR no competition? From the Cipressa onward, that was the most amazing MSR finish I've ever watched! Same with Paris-Roubaix, which together with Flanders had the racing start much, much earlier than before. - He and Pogacar both have taken insane risks on descents, particularly in time trials. I have to imagine most cycling fans would be happy to see them back off a bit.
