The Settimana Internazionale Coppi e Bartali came to a closure today where in the final stage the Quick-Step Alpha Vinyl Team finished first and second as they thrived in the day's breakaway. Josef Cerny took the stage win after attacking in the finale of the stage, going solo and having teammate Rémi Cavagna finish second. Omer Goldstein finished the stage in third place.
Eddie Dunbar arrived in the peloton and thus confirmed the overall win for INEOS Grenadiers at the race.
