Connor Swift "super excited to be joining the INEOS Grenadiers"

INEOS Grenadiers have announced the signing of Connor Swift from Arkea-Samsic for the 2023 season. The former British national champion will be joining the premier British team on a two-year deal.
Speaking of his delight Swift said “I am super excited to be joining the INEOS Grenadiers. This is a team I have always looked up to with many riders who have inspired me”. Deputy Team Principal of INEOS, Rod Ellingworth meanwhile was full of praise for his newest acquisition "He’s already shown his talent in some big races so he’ll add significant depth to the team and I am confident he’ll be an excellent fit for the team and our ambitions for the future."

After 3 and a half years at Arkea-Samsic, Swift becomes INEOS's third signing in preparation for next season after fellow Brits Leo Hayter and Joshua Tarling, as the Grenadiers continue to make a concerted effort to find the best young riders for the future.

First Yates says he is "grateful" to Visma and has been thinking about retirement for a long time??? ... and at the same time he left his team in the dark where they can't bring in a replacement now. - He actually took a pay cut when transferred to Visma; he was the star at Jayco for years, he moved because a different team structure could improve his chances and they both got the benefits of the transaction.
