Remco Evenepoel lands in Australia in seek of gold in World Championships

Remco Evenepoel has just concluded the Vuelta a Espana in a successful way that he could've hardly imagined, but unlike the Giro and Tour winners, he is flying back into action very quickly with the World Championships which are set to start this Sunday.

Evenepoel will be at the start ramp for the individual time-trial alongside Yves Lampaert in search of a win, in an event where he will be one of the main favourites. Evenepoel has flown to Australia this Tuesday night, and will have a few days to acclimatize before getting on with his season.

Evenepoel will, one week exactly afterwards, ride the road race alongside Wout van Aert with the hopes of obtaining a new gold medal for Belgium.
