Cofidis on the hunt for stage wins at the Tour de France with Martin, Coquard, Lafay, Izagirre and Geschke

As a French team, extra pressure to succeed at the Tour de France can often be given to the French-based teams. This year, Cofidis are on the hunt for stage wins with a strong team.

Bryan Coquard returns to the race after missing out last year, the French sprinter will be hoping to be there or thereabouts in the sprint finishes. Meanwhile both Guillaume Martin and Victor Lafay are both outside bets for a top 10 general classification performance with the possibility of breakaway stage hunting also on the cards if they lose considerable time.

Ion Izagirre and Simon Geschke are always breakaway regulars in Grand Tours with four Grand Tour stage wins between the pair over the years. Rounding out the Cofidis lineup are a trio of Frenchman, Axel Zingle, Alexis Renard and Anthony Perez.
