AG2R Citroen has revealed its lineup for Paris-Tours. The team will depend on Benoit Cosnefroy to lead the race.
"After discovering Il Lombardia in 2021, I'm happy to be back in Paris-Tours. The Italian race is really for climbers, and it doesn't fit my qualities as much. Paris-Tours has been successful for me several times since turning pro, with two podium finishes in particular," Cosnefroy said.
As we saw in Tre Valli Varesini a couple of days ago, Cosnefroy is in great shape heading into the race. Tadej Pogacar won the race, with him finishing fifth. "I was satisfied with my feeling there. It was waiting to see how it would go after my long trip from Australia," said Cosnefroy.
Cosnefroy will be assisted in a possible victory by Stan Dewulf, Dorian Godon, Antoine Raugel, Michael Schär, Clément Venturini and Oliver Naesen. In 2019, Naesen ranked third, and in 2021, Dewulf ranked fourth.
