Amidst a cloud of uncertainty, B&B Hotels - KTM have reportedly been given an extended deadline to provide the required documents and assure the UCI of their ability to operate once given a license.
According to the French newspaper Le Télégramme, B&B Hotels-KTM's team manager, Jérôme Pineau will address the future of the team and submit the required paperwork on Friday, December 2nd. Cycling's governing body will then determine on Saturday, December 3rd whether or not to grant B&B the requested license.
Contrary to that report however, another French newspaper, Ouest-France has stated that its sources believe that B&B Hotels-KTM has until Monday, December 5th to submit the documents needed to the UCI licensing commission.
The possibility remains that the team could ride the 2023 season without a new sponsor and largely the same as they did in 2022. What that would mean for the potential signings of riders such as Mark Cavendish, Cees Bol and Ramon Sinkeldam remains unclear.
