The Dutch national championships have begun today, with the time-trial seeing a lot of contenders, but having an unexpected winner as Trek - Segafredo's Bauke Mollema was the fastest out on course.
The 35-year old was the fastest in Emmen, beating Tom Dumoulin and Daan Hoole who completed the podium. This was his first gold medal in the national championships and it came about in surprising fashion.
