On his return to racing from Lyme Disease, Lotto Dstny's Arnaud De Lie looked as strong as ever as he powered to victory at the Famenne Ardennes Classic for the second straight year.
Heading into the final 50km, a group of nine riders still held a small advantage off the front of the peloton but with 41km to go, they were caught by the bunch. Despite repeated attacks in the kilometres that followed, no one was able to fully make a move stick, meaning a reduced bunch sprint was the inevitable finale.
In the race for the line, Axel Zingle opened things up, but on his return to racing after a recent battle with Lyme Disease, Arnaud De Lie looked better than ever, powering around to take a fabulous win.
