Quick-Step Alpha Vinyl Team have revealed their lineup for the upcoming Tour de l'Ain, with the team being headlined by World champion Julian Alaphilippe who is looking to regain his best form after a complicated set of months.
The Frenchman is racing the Tour of Leuven today and will be back to competition in the coming days in France for the three-day stage-race where he has the chance of fighting for stage wins and perhaps the overall classification too. Mauri Vansevenant will be a strong member for the team's ambitions aswell, with French powerhouse Rémi Cavagna the other card for the team's ambitions of success.
Team DS for the race Wilfried Peeters has said commented on the selection: “We’re motivated to go for the best result possible next week. Unfortunately, Julian missed a couple of days due to Covid, but we hope he will get back on track in what will be his final preparation race for the Vuelta," he explained. "He will have a good team by his side, featuring Dries, Stan, Louis, Mauri and Rémi, the last two coming to the start from Poland, where they both did a strong race".
