- Like a ghost opened every door at the zoo today, all kinds of animals running in every direction. None of this was in my dictionary. The biggest GC guys lost it, some unexpected names showed up with fire in their pants.
- I was rooting for Del Toro from early in the race, but I was also very cautious about placing too much hope for GC on him. He's got a big engine, but he needs to decide very soon if he's committing 100% to GC for the long run, or 100% as puncheur. I think he could become super good at either one.
- Carapaz's 2019 Giro win was partly because Nibali and Roglic were playing cat and mouse with each other. But it's already clear that if he wins this one, he truly deserved it. He looked like a madman escaping a burning prison today. Kudos to him!
- It's a joke about Roglic being crash prone. It's not a criticism on Roglic. Roglic can do nothing about his bad luck. I have seen some of the comments on youtube which are very distasteful and put down Roglic. This is not one of those comments.
- Because that's what winners do.
- I have yet to watch the fullstage, been a busy day, but Carapaz is on fire, he and Yates will battle this one out until Stage 20 it looks like. Del Toro may come back as well some. Let's see how it plays out and now I'm off to watch the stage!
- If it wasn't for Pog UAE would be nothing - Ayuso is a kid who just shouts ME yet doesn't perform... Del Toro needs to have a serious conversation with Gianetti to get off his fence!
- Headline says that del Toro is only seconds ahead of del Toro. Hope he’s able to hold himself off… or catch himself. I’m not sure who to root for.
- This year's unpredictability and drama definitely wins out entertainmentwise over the inevitability of Pogi last year. Stage 17 coming up and multiple riders still within reach of winning. Love it!
- That was just a little light humour. I like Primoz, and I feel badly for him that he had to withdraw from the race.
