Future Visma | Lease a Bike rider Jørgen Nordhagen becomes junior World Champion in cross country skiing

Visma | Lease a Bike will welcome another World Champion in their ranks in 2025. But his domain is neither road or field but snow. Jørgen Nordhagen is soon going to change skies for bicycle full-time, but it's more than clear that he could have a successful career in winter as well.

Norwegian Jørgen Nordhagen is widely considered one of the biggest talents of the 2005 class, especially when the road rises and against the clock, as he has shown with his silver medal from 2023 European Championships.

The recently 19-year-old Scandinavian has already joined the prestigious U23 academy of the WorldTour team, the Visma | Lease a Bike Development team where he'll spend one year before taking the step up among the pros with the Dutch team on a deal that runs until 2027.
