Cycling mourns death of Moriah Wilson, gravel rider killed with gunshot

Gravel star Moriah Wilson has been found dead on the 11th of May in Austin, Texas. The American rider was said to be preparing for the Gravel Locos race which was set to take place today in the area, when she was the victim of a gunshot wound whilst at home.

The information advanced by VeloNews, with confirmation from the Austin Police Department. Wilson was killed, with the author of the crime and the motive yet to be found, in a case that has shocked the American cycling comunity, and specifically the gravel community, in which she was a leading figure after having won several high-level races this year.
