Luxury car brand Aston Martin has collaborated with J. Laverack, a titanium specialist, to create a bespoke and premium road bike that can be made to the exact measurements of each rider.
The bike is based around a frame that is comprised of 3D-printed titanium lugs that are joined together with carbon fibre tubes. This method of construction allows for different tube lengths to be fitted, as well as bespoke angles to the frame to be tweaked in the design software before printing.
Aston Martin's press release reads: "This ensures a frame that not only delivers an exceptional blend of response and comfort but also sets new standards of elegance and beauty."
Oliver Laverack, Co-founder of J. Laverack Bicycles, added: "Working with the team at Aston Martin has unlocked new ideas and innovations, the application of which has created a bicycle more advanced than anything currently available on the market."
