Lars van der Haar: "I'm disappointed again, I can't make anything else out of it"

Lars van der Haar once again had to face disappointment, he finished behind Laurens Sweeck in UCI Word Cup Beekse Bergen. He also missed the top position in Superprestige Niel on Friday by one ranking and in European Champion a week ago.

"I'm disappointed again, I can't make anything else out of it," he told the WielerFlits. He continues, "I think the rest are a little faster off at the moment. I just try to get out well and today that still works out."

He further added, " I didn't get it right in my head, I didn't dare. I should have just always jumped them, but I know that if it's just not right in my head I better not do it. Being on the ground takes more time."

Despite all the obstacles, he managed to finish in second place. He claims he could have taken the top spot today if not for Eli Iserbyt's attack in the last lap.
