Did fans throw urine on Mathieu van der Poel prior to his controversial spit?

If it was true, then how they can contain the urine without people smelling it? I mean, carring a glass of urine, is not only noticible by smell, but it's gross as well🤢

Sad when fans just can’t respect the riders, watching the footage that group of Belgians were on his case every lap, half of me is inclined to say they got what they deserve. I’d challenge anyone not to react if they were in a similar situation. However unless someone who was there want to tell us the truth, we’ll never know

First there is no evidence of said claim. Even MVDP does not mention it, he should have if it did happen. Presumably there may have been some vulgar comments about his mother or wife the entire race. When looked at from a legal judgement standpoint, the evidence matters and there is plenty of MVDP spitting and little to none of aggravation from the other side other than witnesses/hearsay. So MVDP will be in the dock

He should have dealth this in a more mature manner, not spitting at fans! 🤦🏻 Hope UCI get this case to bed ASAP!
