Clément Venturini will launch his season in the field this Saturday during the regional cyclo-cross of Belmont-de-la-Loire. The French Champion will continue the next day with the Auxerre event, his first UCI cyclo-cross of the season.
Fifteen days later, he will return to racing the Coupe de France during the double round in Flamanville, he told DirectVelo. The AG2R Citroën rider had not participated in a Coupe de France event since December 30, 2017. It was in, you guessed it, Flamanville.
Then Venturini might make an appearance in Spain in middle of December, racing in Xativa and Valencia. At the end of this year, and the beginning of 2024, he will make an streak of appearances in Belgium and Netherlands, before his attempt to win his sixth French title in Morbihan in January 14.
Eager to participate in his third World Championships in a row, he will be present at the last two rounds of the World Cup, in Benidorm in Spain on January 21 and in Hoogerheide in Netherlands on January 28. The day before the Dutch event, he planned to line up for the Hamme cross.
