Belgian Cycling reveals team for European Cyclo-cross Championships

Belgian Cycling has revelead it’s team for the upcoming European Championships cyclo-cross in Namur. Many notable riders including Eli Iserbyt, Michael Vanthourenhout, Laurens Sweeck and Quinten Hermans are part of the squad.

Eli Iserbyt has already won the championship two years ago in Rosmalen in the Netherlands. This will be his second attempt at winning the title. With four victories so far this cyclocross season, he has already proven his form. Iserbyt will also be supported by Laurens Sweeck, Michael Vanthourenhout, and Quinten Hermans.

As far as the women's team is concerned, Sanne Cant will be the main focus. She's already experienced what it's like to be at the top in 2014, 2015, and 2017. Another rider who has a chance to surprise the top riders is Marion Norbert-Riberolle. Laura Verdonschot and Alicia Franck complete the squad.

Belgian Cycling Elite men for European Championship : Jens Adams, Quinten Hermans, Eli Iserbyt, Daan Soete, Laurens Sweeck, Toon Vandebosch, Niels Vandeputte and Michael Vanthourenhout.

Belgian Cycling Elite women for European Championship: Sanne Cant, Alicia Franck, Marion Norbert-Riberolle and Laura Verdonschot.

Belgian Cycling Junior men for European Championship: Yordi Corsus, Antoine Jamin, Robbe Marchand, Wies Nuyens, Ferre Urkens, Viktor Vandenberghe, Seppe Van Den Boer and Axel Van Den Broek.
