Kelderman was a crucial rider for BORA-hansgrohe, and he was responsible to place the team in the top ranks in GC. "He definitely brought experience to the team. Wilco always rode at a high level, but he only misses those one or two wins. But for the rest, he was always there in the top-10 or top-5," said Politt.
On the other hand, Politt is also eager to challenge Kelderman in the upcoming
Tour de France, but it's not up to him to decide whether or not he will compete. "In recent years, the classics were my first goal. Then I took a break, and then the preparation for the Tour followed. I hope for the Tour again next year, of course. But the team decides, and when I know that, I will prepare," concluded Politt.
