W52-FC Porto suffer mid-race hotel raid due to doping suspicions

At the ongoing GP O Jogo, currently being lead by Rafael Reis of Glassdrive Q8 Anicolor has hit the Portuguese news for negative news, as the W52-FC Porto team suffered a hotel raid due to doping suspicions, which has led the team to not start the third stage.

This came as a result of dozens of searching actions from the police, with the goal of detecting any possible forbidden methods and illicit substances. Two people were detained, team DS Nuno Ribeiro who had his 2009 win at the Volta a Portugal removed due to a doping suspension being one of them.

Not only the team hotel was raided, but also several targets throughout Portugal, with 120 elements involved in the searches. An announcement has been made regarding the raids, but details remain "under secret of justice" until now.
