This Paris-Roubaix edition was very eventful for Jumbo-Visma, as Wout van Aert managed to get selected to the race in the final days leading up to it, and went on to finish second in the velodrome after several mechanical issues during the race. One of which, at the Trouée d'Arenberg, perhaps the most iconic sector in the race, has now reached the eyes of the public due to fan footage.
Often the speeds are incredibly high entering the sector, as it is one of the hardest of the race and frequently sees big peloton heading into the road narrowing, and that took a toll on Wout van Aert's bike who - exactly like Christophe Laporte earlier in the race - had a back tyre puncture, followed by a broken wheel. Teammate Timo Roosen was very quick to react, having given his bike to the Belgian champion before waiting for a replacement, as is seen in the video.
