Stage six of the Tour de l'Avenir saw the riders go trough some hilly terrain, with home rider Roman Gregoire taking a strong win in Oyonnax. However, the finale was by far good for some riders.
As Gregoire crossed the line, behind him several riders crashed after a touch of wheels. It was a complicated crash with a rider not crossing the finish line. Michel Hessman finished the day in fourth place having avoided the crash, and remains in the yellow jersey.
