Romain Grégoire has won the sixth stage of the
Tour de l'Avenir. He was the fastest to cross the finish line amongst his rivals.
The breakaway included Gleb Brussenskiy (Kazakhstan), Simon Dalby, William Blume Levy (Denmark), Alessandro Fancellu (Italy), and Mathis Le Berre (France). Loe van Belle was also part of the group was he was dropped soon. However, they only managed to create 50 seconds gap.
The peloton caught the breakaway soon. In the last five kilometers, Dalby launched an early attack, but Gregoire was not letting him get off easily, There was a crash just before the finish line, but he was able to avoid it and secure the victory.
Loe van Belle and Davide Piganzoli tried to counterattack him but could not stop him from crossing the finish line first. Loe van Belle managed to take silver while Davide Piganzoli finished third. Michel Hessmann is the overall leader.
