At the Tour de France, often the teams with yellow colours are encouraged or told to switch colours so as to not confuse with the race's iconic yellow jersey. However, taking the race's exposure, many teams and sponsors often reveal special-edition jerseys for the biggest cycling race on the planet, and Team Visma | Lease a Bike have shared with the world their new blue jersey for this year's race.
It was a long-teased moment, as the team heavily advertised the upcoming reveal for the jersey. They call it 'Renaissance', inspired by the race's start this year in the art-famous Italian city of Florence. The jersey has a rather different design than a regular one, with tones of yellow, dark and light blue.

- It will be very interesting to see it Premier Tech can just walk away from sponsorship of Sylvan Adams team without any financial repercussion or obligation, as a contract has likely been broken. I don't know the details of how cycling team sponsorship works, but Premier Tech may not be in a position to be able to start sponsoring a new team if they are technically still a sponsor of Adams team in 2026.

While focusing on cycling most of them are also studying to have back up careers as cycling is not yet a viable choice for most. Reports from national training camps. Most of the young guys - fully dedicated to cycling. Most of the young women - working part time jobs or studying. Scratch a female cyclist and you are much more likely to find a PhD, MD, business degree etc. than an equivalent age male cyclist. I see. Thank you for sharing. I can understand now. Still a faux pas in my opinion as the symbol is a bit taboo nowadays in France.
