Barely a week after walking away from its crisis-stricken partnership with Israel – Premier Tech, Canadian company Premier Tech is already being courted by several top-tier squads eager to bring the brand back into the WorldTour fold.
According to Daniel Benson’s latest reporting, both INEOS Grenadiers and Alpecin–Deceuninck have held exploratory talks with the industrial group about a potential co-sponsorship deal for 2026.

Premier Tech wants to stay in cycling – but not as title sponsor

While the company’s exit from the former Israel outfit appeared abrupt, sources suggest Premier Tech is keen to remain involved in the sport, albeit in a less high-profile capacity.
Rather than taking on another full naming role, the firm is said to be seeking a co-sponsorship arrangement — allowing continued visibility in the peloton without carrying the political or operational weight of team ownership.
Other teams reportedly linked to the company include Soudal Quick-Step, EF Education–EasyPost, Astana, Picnic PostNL, and French women’s squad St Michel–Préférence Home–Auber 93.

Canadian connection remains key

The French ProTeam could be an especially logical fit: it already boasts three Canadian riders — Alison Jackson, Clara Emond and Simone Boilard — aligning with Premier Tech’s stated focus on developing talent from Canada and Québec.
When confirming its split from Israel – Premier Tech, the company made that commitment explicit:
“Supporting the growth of the sport, alongside the development of cyclists from Canada and Québec, is our driving force — and will remain so in the future.”
That same emphasis could also make INEOS Grenadiers an attractive destination. The British team have long been linked with Canadian star Derek Gee, currently locked in a contractual dispute with his former employers after leaving the Israel setup earlier this autumn.

A swift return on the cards?

For now, no agreement has been finalised, but the sheer speed of discussions underlines Premier Tech’s determination to remain part of professional cycling despite last week’s dramatic split.
From the fallout of political protests to the scramble for new partnerships, the company’s exit has reshaped one of the peloton’s most controversial projects — but the brand itself looks unlikely to vanish from the sport it has supported for over three decades.
