Stage 20 of the Giro d'Italia is a beastly time trial with a few inconsequential flat kilometers at the start and the beastly climb of Monte Lussari that will decide the overall classification of the 2023 Corsa Rosa.
Alberto Contador has made the climb to the pass that will be the judge of the race for Eurosport colleagues and has uploaded the video to his social networks making it clear that for him, there has never been anything like it in the history of the grand tours by stages.
"I present to you probably the hardest time trial in the history of a grand tour. Monte Lussari, the decisive stage of the Giro d'Italia," Contador shares in his Twitter page, with images of an empty, barren and brutal climb.
