The 2023 Giro d'Italia general classification following stage 19 as Primoz Roglic cuts Geraint Thomas's lead

After an exciting finale to stage 19 at the 2023 Giro d'Italia, Primoz Roglic has cut the lead of the Maglia Rosa, Geraint Thomas, gapping the Welshman on the line atop Tre Cime di Lavaredo.

The Welshman still leads the general classification, Thomas will head into the decisive time-trial on stage 20 with a 26 second lead over second-placed Roglic. Joao Almeida lost some more time on today's stage and now seems sure to finish in third on the podium in Rome.

Looking down the top 10, Damiano Caruso has returned to 4th after a disappointing day for Eddie Dunbar saw the Irishman lose time. Thibaut Pinot is up to 6th, Thymen Arensman rises to 7th courtesy of his brilliant work aiding Thomas. Lennard Kamna and Andreas Leknessund both drop in the standings to 8th and 9th respectively with the third INEOS rider, Laurens de Plus rounding out the top 10.
