It is not the first time such an incident has happened but on the 12th of May
Peter Sagan was found to have been riding a scooter close to home in Monaco whilst drunk. The incident has caught on quite some criticism, for which the Slovakian now responds to.
"I am very sorry that I screwed up in a moment of weakness. I want to apologize to my family, my friends, my team, our sponsors and everyone who supported me. I am committed to learn from this mistake and becoming a better person in the future.," the former World Champion said in a video shared on Instagram.
