VIDEO: Fan footage gives new perspective on chaotic Koppenberg climb at 2024 Tour of Flanders

The 2024 edition of the Tour of Flanders will be one that lives long in the memory of cycling fans. With the rain causing chaos, a brutal climb of the Koppenberg transported the riders back the days of old.

Although Mathieu van der Poel managed to skip from cobble to cobble as if it were nothing, riders all around the Rainbow Jersey were being forced to a complete standstill and even required to carry their bike on their shoulder and run up the hill in their cleats.
