Rigoberto Urán does not stop and after riding the Giro de Rigo with Wout van Aert as a guest star in Colombia, now in Ecuador the great cyclist who accompanies him is Peter Sagan. The Slovak has unleashed the madness in the South American country by riding with Urán hours before the race.
It should be remembered that Peter Sagan will retire after the upcoming Paris Olympics, where he hopes to compete in the mountain bike category. The three-time World champion has recently signed with Slovakian team Pierre Baguette to ride some minor road races in preparation for his mountain bike season.
Urán, for his part, could also be facing his last professional season in 2024 and hinted that he would love to retire in a big race like the Games, although he has not confirmed that it will be his final decision. The two have something in common but nevertheless, they spread spectacle throughout their stay in Colombia's neighbouring nation.
